I miss my early days and youth, lols. I’m only in my 30s, but it feels like a lifetime ago. Until I was, I don’t know, maybe 25 years old, I had never been over 50 kg; those were the fun days. I would eat 5 to 6 times a day and never lose weight. And then suddenly, an explosion like the one that created the universe lols, according to the big bang theory, took place, and I gained more than 20 kg in less than a year.

Maybe it was the fact that I started eating less. One or two meals a day? Or maybe it was because I started working in a very stressful job environment. I’m not sure; I just know that despite all my efforts to exercise and eat healthily, I couldn’t lose any weight, and I noticed many people saying the same.

And then, I was told that my metabolism was slow. My stomach has decided that because I don’t feed her much, she should keep what I give her forever, hahaha. I started googling ways to increase the body’s metabolism, and I found two that caught my eye because they are both based on natural stuff:

1-      Every morning, I squeeze a lemon into a water bottle and drink it before food.

2-      I mix two teaspoons of organic apple cider vinegar with water and some natural honey and drink it throughout the day

And let me tell you this; I have already noticed an increase in my metabolism where I don’t feel full the whole day without eating anything. Don’t stop exercising; that is not what I’m saying, and as we only live once, eat things you love in small portions. But also find natural things that could help you personally achieve your goal, trial, and error. That is all I’m saying.
