Sleep

For most of my life, I did not dream while sleeping. I have a lot of daydreams, lols, crazy ones at that, which I think if they came true, I would be the luckiest person alive, haha, but never at night. I would go to bed, close my eyes, and not wake up again until morning.

That started changing in the last three months, I think. First, my sleep patterns changed; I would go to bed as late as 1 a.m. and then be up by 4 a.m. the same night without feeling tired during the day. Then I noticed that I woke up late and tired no matter what time I went to bed. After that, I woke up during the night when the dream was over and before the next one started.

These are not your normal dreams. They are very vivid, and I wake up as if I haven’t gone to sleep yet. It's like I'm living another life completely in my dreams. I'm not sure how that switch got turned on or how I can switch it off during the week so I can actually wake up for work without having the feeling, “I can't wait for nighttime so I can go back to sleep, lols.”

Anyhow, dreaming is overrated and very annoying, and I would prefer a full night's sleep to a disturbed one.
