Seal Team
When I was a kid, being a military brat, I always dreamt that when I got older, I would also be working in the military and following in my dad’s footsteps. I had and still have a deep sense of appreciation for what they do and the protections they offer us while sacrificing their lives in all aspects. Dad worked in the Air Force as a mechanic for planes, but my dream was always to be in special forces, and even though I'm way older now, though not wiser lols, I still have this dream. And the reason why it is a dream and not reality is not my lack of ambition or drive, but the fact that I’m an expat and can’t serve in that capacity.
So what I do is watch a lot of shows related to the military and their work, and the one that moved me so much is “Seal Team”. Yes, I am a big fan of David Boreanaz and his work, but it’s the storyline and the issues they shine a light on that captured my emotions. When we think of the military we don’t think about what they go through and what they sacrifice, at least I didn’t. this has opened my eyes so wide, didn’t change my dream, but made me realize the hardships and the danger they face. I guess what I’m trying to say is, thank you to everyone who has given and is still giving so we can live in safe and secure places without having to worry much. Also, trust me this show is one of the best of all time, so it's something to watch. Oh and one more thing, I wish I could do something worthwhile in my lifetime just like they do to serve others. That is a dream of mine.
