Business Banking

I have been trying for months to open a bank account for my business, and it has been a very trying time to be honest, I lost interest in the whole shebang. Apparently if you are not as rich as God they don’t pay attention to you or help you get anywhere.

I have been working with a bank and I went through the whole process with them, got the account open, it took me 4 visits to just kick start the process. Which in turn took more than a month to just get the account number. Just getting a bank statement from them took three phone calls and multiple messages!!! Obviously, we are in the technology age, so you might be wondering why I don’t use the app, my answer is, after two weeks of waiting and them having all my contact details, I called to follow up and the call center told me that there are missing signatures. Now how in God’s name was I supposed to know that? Telepathy? I haven’t mastered that yet.

Anyways, I finally got fed up with them today, reached out to a friend of mine, who in turn directed me to an online bank that took one hour to open the account for me while I’m sat at home in my PJ’s. so first, hurray to digital transformation and hurray to innovation. And second, I, thinking maybe I move my whole life to this new way of banking and live happily ever after.
