Deliveroo
For a customer-based application, they don’t seem to be doing a good job catering to their customers. For example, when the order is live, the options you have are not satisfying; if an order is damaged, you can’t just click on something and cancel the order or report the damage for a re-delivery. That option is only available for the driver!! But what about the customer?
My poison of choice is Starbucks; I order one Venti from them every day. Now and then, the order arrived damaged, spelled, or opened. Now, I don’t care about their refund option because I want my coffee, but no, you can’t do that. The only thing you can do is inform them and pay again to get your coffee. But I’m angry right now because of what happened this morning. I ordered my usual, and it arrived damaged, but I can’t do anything about it as the order is still Live. The driver just took the damaged item and left.
I can see him on the map driving around, and even if he decided to get me a new coffee, how do I know that he didn’t tamper with it? Seeing how I refused to accept the first delivery and that will cost him. And what if he just doesn’t come back? I lose my money, and then what. I mean, there should be a better way to do this; it makes me wanna start my application even though it’s too much headache. I mean, seriously, I don’t think I am the only person annoyed with their service. That is all I’m saying.
