Happily ever after

I was very annoyed over the weekend, thinking about how the world around us is and how me and my siblings can’t get anything that we want, sometimes it feels that the universe is against us in everything. My younger brother graduated from university 9 years ago, and he is still unable to get a job, despite trying like hell to get one. My younger sister has been trying to finish her studies for a while now so she can come back and be with us and despite working like crazy almost all day every day, things don’t seem to be moving ahead for her!!!

Aside from that, our amazing super mum, even though not so old, is sick and no doctor can figure out what is wrong or how to fix it. So yeah, that is why it feels like the world is conspiring against us. But my older brother’s answer actually brought me back to reality, he said, who is happy nowadays? Not people with money, power, or anything else. And thinking about it, he is right, and we shouldn’t expect any happy ever after anymore.

Seems like aside from family, everything around us is just a load of crap and we should just dust ourselves every day till it’s over, that is my view at the moment.
